Mountain of chocolate brownies

Great to visit Borough Market again, haven't been there for ages. Chocolate brownies are a must. The guys at the stand thought it would look really cool to put all the brownies in one big pile. Right they were, it attracted quite a crowd.
Good thing they are in the food industry though and not engineering. They forgot the fact that brownies are soft, and very heavy. As the bottom brownies started to compress and spread out, the whole pile started to topple over...
Stand back! She is going to blow!
Their brownies rock though. Big, soft, moist and so filling... Can't eat more than a half at the time.
Also tried the Brindisa chorizo sandwich. Fried chorizo and roasted bell peppers on a piece of white toasted bread with lots of olive oil, all topped off with plenty of rocket. Absolutely fabulous. They guy putting the pieces together really doesn't show much finess, he's just slapping sausage on bread, wacking the bell pepper in place and shoving a bunch of rocket on top. Goes to show that all you really need to make an amzing meal is good and fresh ingredients.
Made me think of when I was a kid and we used to go away with school in winter time for outdoor activities. Those sandwiches are exactly what you want when you have been out ice skating all day, standing in front of an open fire and hardly feel your feet or hands. Stomping your feet in the ground to get circulation back and warming your fingers on the bread while chewing away.
