Gorgeous Arbutus

Finally went to eat at Arbutus, which I have wanted to visit since I was there just days before the opening.
Good looks, exciting menu, all wine by the glass (thanks to a special vacuum mojo recorking gizmo I heard) and fantastic service of the skilled and attentive yet not intrusive kind. What more can you ask for, really? Oh, of course, decent prices. Arbutus has that too. Well worth a visit, if you are lucky they serve the young squids...
Photo from company do. Tad dark, but the beautiful backlit panels came out well. Hard to believe they are cheap hand chiseled MDF. Great looking restaurant decorations doesn't have to be ridicolously expensive. Nice to see the owners' creativity span all the way from the menu to the wall decorations.
