Beautiful tree. Today under the tree I found dark chocolate, amazing balsamic vinegar and pistachio nuts. There will be homemade truffles inspired by Lucullian Delights.

Update: But since it is seemingly impossible to find ordinary cocoa powder around Elephant & Castle (instant hot chocolate however there are hundreds of varieties of...) I think I will cover some with dessicated coconut shavings and some with pistachio.

The reliable lot from the Salvation Army, bless their generosity and good will, provide the entertainment at the Christmas market. There is an air of anticipation over the market today, I guess we all look forward to Christmas dinner, and despite it being terribly crowded everybody are smiling. Fantastic.

I am home with a horrible man flu. Comfort food called for. White bread rolls filled with bolognese mixed with the scoop out from the rolls. Cheese and herbs on top. Yum.
