There is a distinct drawback in restricting carbohydrate intake and thus not allowing yourself to eat anything with white flour in it: you will miss out on pies. Oh, lovely pie.
While this variety isn't exactly a fantastic replacement, it is on your average day a good enough substitute. It is really quick and simple too. So here goes, taco pie in an egg shell, served with guacamole.

Sweet peppers are one of my favorite vegetables. Eat them raw, sauteed or pickled, scorch them in the oven and remove the peel, steam them or bake them with stuffing... So versatile and tasty, I would definitely count them as part of the super food family.

Now, this is probably not the healthiest of breakfasts, but if you combine the calorie allowance for breakfast AND lunch and don't think too much about the high GI sugar and syrup... ...this is a great start of the day!
Update: if you are on a low carb diet, but still want to try this recipe (naughty...), you can replace the flour with ground almonds and still get excellent results!
