Embarrassingly, I've only just discovered cavolo nero and i LOVE it! Served it up to guests last night with lots of butter and they loved it! I could eat a huge bowl of the stuff!

Completely agree! What me and W frequently do is sauteeing the cavolo with a few halved cherry tomatoes, mashing them a bit as you cook it adding some fresh acidic juiciness to it all.

I love kale and cavolo nero - can't get enough of them.
