Excellent conversation about the state of food trucks in the UK (antiquated laws make initiatives unnecessarily difficult which is a big shame), festivals (I really should stop behaving like an old man and go to a few now and then), blog tech (me and @eatlikeagirl shared pains in not doing enough housekeeping...), photography and, of course, Twitter.
Tried the Russian salad with quail egg and shaved truffle. Absolutely excellent dish!
Shot of -18 degrees Celsius Imperial Standard vodka (still made to the recipe perfected by the chemist Dmitri Mendeleev who also discovered the Periodic Table of Elements), big mouthful of creamy salad and truffle. Delicious!
Too bad the photo is so dark, it looked stunning too.
Learned that BBR serve some amazing vodkas, change their menu frequently and have staff as lovely as the decorations are extravagant.
Due for a dinner visit soon I think.
